To better support users, Live Now introduces a newly upgraded feature to help streamers read and view comments to interact with the audience easily – the Chat feature. This feature is exclusive to Premium accounts, helping to increase interaction between content creators and viewers on supported platforms including YouTube, Facebook Fanpage, Facebook Personal Page (in public mode), and Restream.
Currently, the Chat feature can be used in two modes, Screen Broadcast and Stream Camera. To use this feature, follow the following simple steps.
How to Use Chat Feature in Live Now
Screen Broadcast Mode
For Screen Recording mode, turning on the Chat feature is a piece of cake.
Simply open the Live Now app, choose your desired platform, and select Screen Broadcast mode.
Once in the setting, click on the Chat feature to switch it from OFF to ON. Proceed by clicking “Next” to initiate your live stream. A Chat tab will now grace your screen, displaying the notification “Messages will appear here”. If the Chat tab does not appear, click the Chat icon to turn it OFF and turn it ON again.
The location of the Chat tab is fully customizable, giving you flexibility and customization to your preferences. You can minimize the Chat tab to the corner of the screen by swiping to the side as well as dragging the Chat bar to different locations on the screen, ensuring it doesn’t affect the content you’re sharing.
Stream Camera Mode
When selecting Stream camera mode, do the same as when the tutorial is in Screen Broadcast mode to enable this feature. Once enabled, you’ll see viewer comments appear on your screen.
You can also easily adjust the display of comments by tapping the Chat icon in the upper left corner of the screen. This feature allows you to hide or show the comment box as desired, giving you complete control over your live stream.

Been using the app for a few days and been loving it so far as it makes it so easy to start the stream without any issues so far. I just wish the chat box was more customizable like making it transparent and changing the size.
