Live Now supports a multi-input workflow on compatible devices, allowing external HDMI sources to be previewed without a separate hardware video mixer.
Requirements
- A compatible iPad and Live Now version that supports multiple external inputs
- Two supported UVC HDMI capture devices
- Cameras, cables and sufficient USB bandwidth/power
Step-by-step guide
- Connect each camera to its own HDMI capture input.
- Attach both capture devices to the iPad using a compatible USB-C hub or connection arrangement.
- Open the camera input controls in Live Now.
- Identify each external input and check both previews.
- Select the intended source for the live output and verify it before streaming.
Important notes
- USB hub bandwidth and power requirements are important for two video inputs.
- Available preview and switching controls depend on the app version and connected devices.
