On supported Android devices, Live Now can work with compatible UVC capture devices to receive video from an HDMI camera.
Requirements
- Android phone or tablet supporting USB OTG/host mode
- Compatible UVC HDMI capture card
- Camera, HDMI cable and any required USB adapter
Step-by-step guide
- Enable clean HDMI output on the camera.
- Connect camera HDMI OUT to the capture card.
- Connect the capture card to the Android device.
- Allow USB device access if Android prompts you.
- Select the external camera input in Live Now and check the preview.
- Test audio and video before a public stream.
Important notes
- USB permissions and available video formats vary across Android devices.
- If the source freezes, try reconnecting the device and testing another supported resolution.
