How Team Management Works for Sports Streaming
Here’s how you can set Team Management feature up step by step for sports streaming.
1. Prepare your overlays
- Go to Tools > Video Recorder > Overlay.
- Create three blank overlays: Scoreboard, Starting Lineup, and Poster.
- Don’t edit anything yet – just keep them blank for now.
2. Set up your teams
- Go back to Video Recorder and choose Teams.
- Under Team List, tap the + icon to add a new team.
- Enter the Team Name, upload the Logo, and add the Player List (same as in Starting Lineup templates).
- Hit Save, then repeat the process for the second team.
3. Add match details
- Switch to the Match Info tab.
- Here you can edit the Header, Subheader, Description, and Media Brand Logo.
- These will automatically become the default info for your Poster overlay. Media Brand Logo will appear on the scoreboards that have logo in the middle of the overlay.
4. Connect your teams
- At the top banner, tap Select your teams.
- Choose the two teams for your next match streaming, then hit Save.
- Depending on the order you choose, the first team will appear on the left of the Scoreboard, Lineup and Poster, while the team chosen later will appear on the right.
5. Finalize and go live
- Press Save once more to exit back to the Video Recorder screen.
- Now, you can go back to Overlay to check the three overlays (Scoreboard, Lineup, Poster). They’ll be automatically updated with all the team and match information you’ve entered.
- As for the Header and Subheader of the Lineup template, you need to change them manually if necessary.
- Once everything is ready, you can start and enjoy your sports streaming time.
Tips & Notes for Team Management Feature
Here are a small tip and a note for you when using Team Management feature.
- Don’t miss Marquee Text: In the Match Info section, there’s one last field called Marquee Text. When you add content here and set the animation of Text to Marquee inside your overlay, your message will scroll continuously across the screen – perfect for highlights, announcements, or hype messages.
- Note: At the moment, all team details are stored locally on your device. This means if you uninstall the app, the data will be lost. Keep this in mind so you don’t have to re-enter everything later. Live Now will try to improve this feature so that your team information will be protected even when you accidentally delete the app.
