and Live Game (Screen recorder mode) modes in the Live Now mobile app.
It also describes how overlays, templates, and widgets work,
and which features are available in each mode.

1. Streaming modes overview

Live Sports

• Designed for streaming sports matches using Camera mode.
• Supports scoreboards, match events, team management, and replay features.
• Uses Team Manage as the data source for team-based overlays.

Live Game

• Designed for streaming gameplay using Screen Recorder mode.
• Focuses on screen capture, facecam, themes, and game overlays.
• Does not support team-based features.

2. Overlays, templates, and widgets

Overlay

An overlay is a visual element displayed on the live stream.
Overlays control presentation, not data.

Template

A template is a predefined overlay layout.
Templates are commonly used for sports-related visuals
such as posters, lineups, and match banners.

Widget

A widget is a dynamic overlay that displays real-time data,
such as weather, time, comments, or counters.
Widgets may require platform authentication.

3. Team-based synchronization

In Live Sports mode, Team Manage acts as the single source of truth.
The following overlays synchronize automatically with Team Manage:

• Scoreboard
• Match Banner
• Poster
• Lineup
• Match Events

The following overlays do not synchronize with Team Manage:

• Event Banner
• Sponsor Logos
• Weather
• Time
• Other generic widgets

• Scoreboards, match events, and team-based overlays
  are available only in Live Sports.
• Facecam and screen recording are available only in
  Live Game.
• Templates are presentation layouts and do not store data.
