This guide explains how to create and display a compass overlay
using the Live Now mobile app.
The compass overlay is provided as a Widget and shows the
current heading and cardinal direction in real time.

Steps

1. Open the Live Now app.
2. Go to Tools → Video Recorder.
3. Tap Overlay → Add New.
4. Select Widgets → Compass.
5. Adjust the overlay position or resize it if needed.
6. Tap Save and enter an overlay name.
7. Open the live stream screen.
8. Tap the compass overlay you created to display it on the live stream.

Requirements

• The Live Now app must be installed.
• This feature is available on iOS only.
• Motion and orientation permissions are required.

Limitations

• Only one compass overlay can be active at a time.
• The displayed direction is based on the device orientation and motion sensors.
• Accuracy may vary depending on sensor calibration and nearby magnetic interference.

Result

The current heading and direction are displayed on the live stream and update
automatically in real time as the device orientation changes.
