Add a comment view overlay

This guide explains how to create and display a comment view overlay
using the Live Now mobile app.
The comment view overlay is provided as a Widget and supports
YouTube, Facebook, and Restream authentication.

Steps

  1. Open the Live Now app.
  2. Go to Tools → Video Recorder.
  3. Tap Overlay → Add New.
  4. Select Widgets → Comment View.
  5. Adjust the overlay position or resize it if needed.
  6. Tap Save and enter an overlay name.
  7. Open the live stream screen.
  8. Tap the comment view overlay you created to display it on the live stream.

Requirements

  • The Live Now app must be installed.
  • This feature is available on iOS only.
  • You must be logged in to one of the supported platforms:
    YouTube, Facebook, or Restream.

Limitations

  • Only one comment view overlay can be active at a time.
  • The widget displays comments only from the selected platform.
  • RTMP streaming is not supported for this widget.

Result

Live comments from the selected platform appear on the stream in real time
as a comment view overlay.
