Start a live stream game – Screen Recorder Mode

This guide explains how to start a live stream using
Screen Recorder mode with the Live Now mobile app.
This mode is designed for streaming gameplay with
screen capture, facecam,
themes, overlays,
and shield mode.

Steps

  1. Open the Live Now app.
  2. Select the streaming platform you want to use:
    • YouTube
    • Facebook
    • Twitch
    • RTMP

    Log in if required.

  3. Platform-specific setup:
    • Facebook:
      Select whether you want to stream to your profile
      or a page.
    • YouTube:
      Create a new live event or select an
      existing event.
  4. Tap Next.
  5. Select the screen broadcast source.
  6. Set up your stream layout and controls, including:
    • Theme
    • Facecam
    • Overlays
    • Shield mode
    • Pause and screen saver options
  7. Tap Next.
  8. Tap Start Stream to go live.

Requirements

  • The Live Now app must be installed.
  • This feature is available on iOS and Android.
  • A stable internet connection is required.

Result

Your live stream starts using Screen Recorder mode.
You can capture gameplay, display facecam and overlays,
and control visual elements in real time during the stream.
